Ridglea Country Club

In an effort to enhance Ridglea Country Club, originally built in 1954, Huitt-Zollars developed a masterplan for future facility improvements to better accommodate approximately 1,500 members. An overall facility condition assessment was performed to determine possible infrastructure issues and associated costs. The design team facilitated visioning and programming workshops with key members and developed a phased renovation plan which included architectural and interior design services.

Phases 1 and 2 were completed in 2018. Phase 1 included a 10,000 SF renovation of an existing dining area and private function room into a multifunctional Family Grill and Panorama Room. The development of a 1,500 SF fitness room addition to accommodate yoga, spin, ballet and group exercise activities was part of Phase 2.

The country club is currently undergoing design and construction for phases 3 through 5. The women’s locker and card rooms along with a new co-ed lounge and men’s card room, overlooking the famed golf course, will be part of Phase 3. A resort-style 19th hole lounge and wine room addition will be Phase 4. The final renovation, Phase 5, will encompass porte-cochere and building facade enhancements.
