Huitt-Zollars, as a subconsultant to MIG Inc, developed this 30-acre hillside site from open space into a regional park facility with 19 acres of developed park and 11 acres of hillside open space.
The Park recently opened to the public and includes three baseball fields, three soccer fields, a skate park, outdoor volleyball and basketball courts, trails with fitness equipment, restroom and concession facilities, and a children’s play area. Also housed on the site is a Triunfo YMCA facility, which features two indoor swimming pools, indoor basketball courts, a climbing wall, child activity center, multi-purpose rooms, and a healthy living center.
Huitt-Zollars provided all the civil engineering services for the site from initial site assessment to final construction drawings, including the planning, grading, utility design, and storm water treatment.
