Huitt-Zollars is pleased to announce the recent hire of Brian Everett, P.E., who has joined the company as a Vice President. In his role, Brian will manage the staff and daily operations of the Huitt-Zollars Austin office. Additionally, he will direct and lead business development efforts for transportation and municipal clients in the Central Texas region.
Brian has more than 17 years of experience in the transportation market where he planned, designed, and constructed projects for both the public and private sectors. He served as Project Manager on numerous state and county roadway projects in Texas including reconstruction of IH-35 main lane and frontage roads in Waco for TxDOT; County Road 101 reconstruction in Williamson County; and FM 110 roadway facility construction and FM 2770 culvert replacement in Hays County. Brian is qualified by TxDOT in Local Government Project Procedures and has numerous TxDOT precertifications, thus bringing extensive experience and knowledge to the company.
Brian has a strong presence in the professional community serving as Travis Chapter State Director of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE), and he is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
