Huitt-Zollars announces the appointment of Kevin Carter, P.E. as a Vice President for our Thousand Oaks office. In this role, Carter will support a growing team and assist in developing strategic business development initiatives.
Over the course of his 30-year career, Carter has managed, planned, designed and supervised numerous major public works projects that span from road alignments and parking lots, to bridges and drainage facilities. Some of his more prominent projects include the industrial development Patterson Pass Business Park near Tracy, California and the Canada Boulevard Infrastructure Improvements project in Glendale, California. Prior to joining Huitt-Zollars, Carter spent the majority of his career working as a consultant, or in the city and municipality sector.
“I look forward to developing relationships with the municipalities near Thousand Oaks and helping them achieve their goals for servicing their residents,” said Carter. “I also think my insights from working on both the public and private sides will help Huitt-Zollars serve their broader public and private client bases.”
Carter is actively involved in local American Public Works Association (APWA) and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) organizations. We are excited to welcome Kevin Carter to the Huitt-Zollars team!
