Ryan Airfield Taxiway and Apron Reconstruction

Huitt-Zollars provided design for the reconstruction of Taxiways B, D, and North Apron at Ryan Airfield, a general aviation airport near Tucson, Arizona. The project involved designing approximately 12,000 SY of reconstructed taxiway and apron pavements, and the preparation of drawings for a new 35-foot-wide general aviation Taxiway E, including grading and drainage, and airport perimeter fencing plans. An allied project included the preparation of updated airfield and taxiway marking plans including the upgrading of the runway holding position markings to conform to the new FAA mandated requirements.
