Kimbell Art Museum Expansion

The expansion of the Kimbell Art Museum added 85,000 GSF to the existing museum. Huitt-Zollars provided preliminary utility investigation  including researching the municipal utilities, contacting the franchise utilities, and on-site verification of information received. Topographic and boundary survey including researching the land title (which dates back to one of the City’s founding fathers) was also provided. Huitt-Zollars developed: the complete civil engineering design and construction documents necessary to bid and construct the project; the complete utility design that included water lines, wastewater lines, storm drainage, gas routing, electric service routing, telecommunication routing; reviewed platting issues; and provided construction services.
