Huitt-Zollars provided preliminary and final engineering services, preparation of conceptual grading, a drainage and utility plan, preliminary water quality management plan, preliminary drainage study, and construction administration for the 57,000-SF commercial/retail development and parking lot. Final construction drawings included precise grading, storm drain, sewer, water, fire water, and associated support calculations. Site design included a 10,000-CF underground infiltration chamber system that reduces storm water outflow, and removes potential pollutants from storm water that is discharging into the downstream storm drainage system. The infiltration chamber system design allowed the developer to maximize the property while complying with city and state guidelines.
