The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley: The Escape from Gringotts

Enter Gringotts™ bank beneath the massive fire-breathing dragon at the far end of Diagon Alley™. Inside Gringotts™ you’ll walk through the bank’s grand marble lobby and see goblins hard at work. As you climb aboard Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts™, the 85,000 square-foot multi-dimensional 3-D thrill ride takes guests through the underground vaults below Gringott’s Bank. 

Grapevine Main

The Grapevine Main project is a P3 development project with the City of Grapevine that will feature offices, meeting and gathering spaces, integrated with a boutique hotel, parking garage, and the new TEXRail Main Street commuter rail station and reconstructed vintage railroad tracks and platform. The City will own and operate the depot portion of the building and lease portions of the garage for hotel and retail uses.

8th Avenue Mixed-Use Development

Huitt-Zollars completed the 8th Avenue Mixed-Use Development in Fort Worth, Texas. Huitt-Zollars provided architectural, civil, landscape, mechanical, and electrical services to design the redevelopment of multiple contiguous sites as multi-use area. This mixed-use office and retail building provides a striking presence along 8th avenue, tying the medical district into the Magnolia Street area of the Near Southside.

Disney Village Marketplace

A 55-acre waterfront shopping, dining, and entertainment village has been centrally located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida since 1975. Through the years, numerous aesthetic enhancements have taken place as well as structural and systems improvements. Huitt-Zollars addressed aesthetic/architectural design issues regarding the pedestrian common areas, hardscapes, storefronts, decorative landscape, environmental graphics, site, transportation, parking areas, new restaurant building, and new service building.

Ridglea Country Club

In an effort to enhance Ridglea Country Club, originally built in 1954, Huitt-Zollars developed a masterplan for future facility improvements to better accommodate approximately 1,500 members. An overall facility condition assessment was performed to determine possible infrastructure issues and associated costs. The design team facilitated visioning and programming workshops with key members and developed a phased renovation plan which included architectural and interior design services.

Doug Pitcock '49 Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center

Architectural and interior design services were provided for this 8-story, 252,000 square-foot hotel and conference center, which opened in August of 2018 and is conveniently located across from Kyle Field at Texas A&M University. Amenities of the 4-star, full-service hotel and conference center include upscale guest rooms featuring state-of-the-art technology, a full-service restaurant, bars and lounges, a gym, a business center, and 35,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Bluegreen Club 36 Phase 2

Huitt-Zollars provided design of the second phase of Club 36, a Bluegreen Vacations timeshare project near McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, NV. This project consisted of expanding the current timeshare project by 235 keys. Huitt-Zollars provided a design which integrated all of their operational concerns between the two phases of the project. This was done on a very tight and highly regulated site in a relatively short amount time.

Universal Studios Florida - TWISTER…Ride It Out®

This attraction was created by renovating an existing sound stage which had previously been home to the Ghostbusters attraction. The building was designed from the inside out to accommodate its highly technological requirements. Along with the interior renovations to support the show, the team was responsible for the design of new building elements such as the attraction entrance, exterior queue, covered queue structure, new pre-show building, and retail space.
