Addison Circle

Huitt-Zollars provided lead civil design and landscape architecture services for the 80-acre Addison Circle planned development district. The area is the direct result of a public/private initiative designed to develop a residential base in support of restaurant/entertainment business while creating a focal point for community life. The district-wide pedestrian-friendly street grid is zoned for 3,000 rental and owned mid-rise residences on the interior, and 4 million SF of residential and commercial space fronting a significant tollway.

Marina View Office Building

The signature office facility for this waterfront community has been designed with an exterior that features a combination of cast stone and glass curtain wall with exposed aluminum-clad columns at the building’s base. The five-story, 120,000 square-foot low-rise facility also features a multi-level, 480-car garage. The design is inspired by nautical imagery with the northern elevation highlighted by a curved glass facade that evokes a sail, while the building cornice is finished with an aluminum canopy recalling a ship’s rails.

Beltway Lakes

Beltway Lakes is a premier office destination in Northwest Houston. The initial master plan was developed and architectural services were provided for the 45-acre development; the design complements the existing office building and garage. Phases I and II consist of two, 6-story, Class A office buildings containing approximately 165,000 square-feet each, and a structured parking garage with a ratio of 4:1000. The contemporary exterior design utilized a mix of highly efficient curtain wall and punched glazing with architectural precast concrete.
