
Chris Scott, PLA, ASLA is a highly experienced landscape architect with over 30 years of expertise in planning, design, and project leadership. As Vice President and Principal at Huitt-Zollars, Chris leads the firm’s landscape architecture discipline in Dallas delivering thoughtful, sustainable, and community-centered design solutions across a wide range of project types.
Chris’s portfolio spans master-planned communities, urban infill developments, parks and recreation, federal and military housing, commercial campuses, and transportation corridors. Notable projects include the Sunfield master-planned community, Campo del Sol master-planned community, NTTA Western Extension Aesthetics, NTTA 360 Tollway Aesthetics, Anna Crossing Park, Allen Station Park Community Playground and Splash Park, Fort Bliss Urban Design Redevelopment and Tinker AFB Child Development Center, all of which reflect his ability to balance technical precision with creative vision.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University and is a registered landscape architect in Texas, New Mexico, California, Washington, and Colorado. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Council of Landscape Architect Registration Board (CLARB) certified, Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of Congress for the New Urbanism.
