Elaine Jin, PE, is a Vice President and Principal at Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas office with 26 years of experience in structural engineering, specializing in highway and transit bridge design. Her work includes a wide range of bridge types, from TxDOT standard prestressed concrete and steel bridges to post-tensioned concrete structures and complex finite element modeling.

Elaine has played key roles in high-profile infrastructure projects throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, including Structural Task Lead for the $798M Horseshoe Design-Build project, Deputy Project Manager for the TEXRail Extension project, and Project Manager for the DFW Airport International Parkway Right Exit project.

In addition to her technical and project leadership, Elaine is actively involved in the engineering community. She currently serves as the Program Chair for the ASCE Dallas Branch and is a board member of the Texas Civil Network of Transportation (TCNT). She previously served as President of the North Texas Chinese Engineers and Architects Association.

Elaine holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Bridge Engineering from Tongji University. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and Oklahoma.
