Floyd Johnson, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with over two decades of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure. As Vice President and Managing Principal of Huitt-Zollars’ El Paso office, Floyd brings a strong foundation in municipal engineering and utility system improvements to his leadership role, where he oversees office operations, drives strategic growth, and supports clients throughout the region.

Floyd’s background includes planning, design, and modeling of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, with a focus on sustainable, community-driven solutions. Floyd held engineering roles at El Paso Water Utilities and the Lower Valley Water District, where he contributed to community development grant projects and infrastructure upgrades.

Floyd holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. He is also certified in H2OMAP Water and Sewer Modeling.
