
Jeffrey (Jeff) Okamoto, PE, brings over 30 years of diverse civil engineering experience to his role as Urban Development Practice Area Leader. As Practice Leader and a Senior Vice President, Jeff oversees strategic growth, business performance, and client engagement within the urban development sector, ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions. He also serves as Managing Principal of the Irvine office.
Jeff expertise spans a wide range of urban development projects, including grading, hydrology and hydraulics, storm drain, roadway, sewer, and water design for both public works and private facilities. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of civil engineering principles enable him to effectively manage multidiscipline infrastructure projects, coordinating efforts among landowners, homebuilders, governmental agencies, sub-consultants, and in-house staff.
Throughout his career, Jeff has successfully led numerous high-profile projects, such as the Rosedale development in Azusa, California, and the Shea Homes projects at Baker Ranch in Lake Forest, California. His portfolio also includes the Talega Master Planned Community in San Clemente, California, where he played a key role in implementing the overall master plan for grading, street layout, residential housing sites, storm drains, sanitary sewer systems, and water distribution systems.
