John Ho, PE, F.NSPE, is a seasoned civil engineer with over 40 years of experience in private development, transportation, and public infrastructure. As Vice President and Principal at Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas office, John brings a deep commitment to technical excellence, client service, and professional mentorship.

Throughout his career, John has led the successful delivery of a wide range of projects, including master-planned communities, roadway and utility improvements, and public works initiatives. His portfolio includes notable efforts such as Heritage Ranch in Fairview, the Brigade Staging Area at Fort Bliss, the Buffalo Creek Interceptor in Rockwall County, the Allen Gateway Roundabouts in Allen, and  the I-66 widening in Fairfax County, VA. His experience spans both public and private sectors, with a strong foundation in municipal engineering and infrastructure planning.

A graduate of Southern Methodist University, John is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and a Fellow of the National Society of Professional Engineers. He is a Past President of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and actively serves on the NSPE Education Foundation Board of Trustees, and the SMU Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Board. John is also a frequent speaker at engineering schools across Texas, where he advocates for licensure and early career development.
