Joseph Snider is a Principal and Vice President at Huitt-Zollars, serving as Survey Manager for our Arizona offices in Phoenix and Prescott. Based in Phoenix, Joseph leads statewide survey operations, providing strategic leadership and technical expertise for public and private sector projects. He oversees daily operations, mentors staff, and collaborates with municipal and private partners to advance surveying, mapping, and construction staking services.

With more than 40 years of experience, Joseph has held leadership roles in both government and private practice. Most recently, he served as the 34th Surveyor (Chief Surveyor) for the Government of the District of Columbia, where he directed survey operations and initiated cross-agency partnerships. His prior experience includes serving as Deputy Surveyor for D.C. and Director of Technical Services at Snider and Associates, managing stormwater and sediment control services in Maryland. His project portfolio includes boundary and A.L.T.A. surveys for drainage plans and public sector redevelopment initiatives.
