
Mitch Pillar, RPLS, is a Vice President and Principal in Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas office with over 40 years of experience in land surveying. As a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas, Mitch has led a wide range of surveying efforts across transportation, utility, municipal, and private development projects.
His expertise includes horizontal and vertical control, boundary and right-of-way surveys, design surveys, route and construction staking, subdivision layout, and photogrammetric ground control. Mitch has served as Project Surveyor and Survey Party Chief on major projects such as US 75 in Collin County, Dallas Water Utilities improvements, and the Stonebridge Ranch master-planned community. He has also provided surveying services for large-scale developments including apartment complexes, business parks, and infrastructure expansions throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
Mitch is responsible for overseeing records research, computations, drafting, and crew supervision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all phases of survey operations. He is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas.
