Phillip Soule, III, AIA, ACHA, DBIA, is Vice President within Huitt-Zollars’ Institutional practice. Based in our San Diego office, he serves as a Healthcare Lead with a primary focus on advancing growth and opportunities in the San Diego and Houston markets. He also supports healthcare initiatives across the company.

With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare architecture, construction, and business development, Phillip brings expertise in design-build delivery, strategic growth, and client-focused solutions. He has led multi-office teams and delivered award-winning projects, building strong partnerships and shaping innovative healthcare environments.

Phillip is a Board Certified Healthcare Architect (ACHA), Registered Architect (AIA), and Design-Build Professional (DBIA). Recognized for his thought leadership, he has presented at national conferences including the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo, Healthcare Design Conference, and DBIA Conference. His published work appears in GlobeSt.com and Healthcare Design Magazine, and he has taught healthcare design as an adjunct professor at NewSchool of Architecture and Design.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, College of Engineering, School of Architecture.
