Rey Gonzalez, PE, is a Vice President and Managing Principal of our Austin, TX office, bringing over 25 years of engineering experience to his role. Rey leads with a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, overseeing strategic planning, business performance, and client engagement within the Austin office.

Rey’s extensive expertise includes planning, design, project management, and construction of public infrastructure projects such as roadways, transit, drainage, water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, lift stations, sidewalks, trails, bikeways, and parks. He has successfully managed projects for major municipalities in Central Texas, including Austin, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Hutto, Pflugerville, and Buda, as well as all three major counties, Travis, Williamson, and Hays County.

Notable projects under Rey’s leadership include the 51st & Manor Intersection Improvements in Austin, Lakeline Boulevard at Cypress Creek Road Roadway & Intersection Improvements in Cedar Park, the Terminus Pump Station & Water Line Transmission Improvements in Leander, and the Pleasant Valley Road and Expo Center Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Systems for CapMetro. His ability to navigate complex engineering challenges and deliver innovative solutions has earned him a reputation as a trusted leader in the field.
