Tom Granillo, PE, RLS is a seasoned civil engineer and land surveyor with 40 years of experience delivering infrastructure solutions across Arizona. As Vice President and Principal at the Huitt-Zollars Phoenix office, Tom leads multidisciplinary teams on complex public and private sector projects, specializing in roadway design, hydrologic modeling, and utility infrastructure.

Tom’s expertise spans the design of large-diameter water mains, trunk sewers, storm drains, and non-potable water systems. His portfolio includes high-impact projects such as the Goodwin Street Reconstruction in Prescott, the Casa Blanca Water Infrastructure Upgrades for the Gila River Indian Community, and the Indian School Road 36” Waterline in Scottsdale. He is also a trusted leader in survey management, overseeing boundary, topographic, and construction staking services for major developments and public works.

Known for his technical precision and collaborative approach, Tom excels in navigating complex permitting, utility coordination, and floodplain challenges. His work consistently reflects a commitment to quality, sustainability, and community engagement.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer and Registered Land Surveyor in Arizona. He has been with Huitt-Zollars for nearly a decade, continuing to shape the region’s infrastructure with integrity and innovation.
