Tom Ryan has nearly 40 years of experience with land development projects and infrastructure design. As Vice President and Principal at the Huitt-Zollars Phoenix office, Tom leads complex master-planned communities, residential, commercial, and industrial developments across Arizona with a focus on technical excellence and stakeholder collaboration.

Tom’s expertise spans the full project lifecycle—from initial survey and planning through engineering design and construction documentation. His leadership has shaped major projects such as the Verrado Victory District in Buckeye, the Goodwin Street Reconstruction in Prescott, and the Ajo Water and Sewer Main Replacement. He is known for his hands-on approach, ensuring quality and accountability at every stage, and for building trusted relationships with clients, agencies, and communities.

Tom’s portfolio includes hillside developments, stormwater infrastructure, and large-scale utility coordination. His work consistently balances technical precision with environmental sensitivity, as seen in projects like Hillside Vista Estates in Sedona and Storm Ranch in Prescott.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Reclamation from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville and has been with Huitt-Zollars for over two decades, continuing to deliver impactful, sustainable solutions across the region.
