
Victor A. Illig, PE, is a Vice President and Principal at Huitt-Zollars’ Irvine office with over 20 years of experience in land development and public infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. He has led the planning and design of a wide range of civil engineering projects, including arterial roadways, neighborhood streets, regional flood control systems, and bikeway corridors.
Victor has managed the delivery of key infrastructure components for large-scale developments such as Rancho Mission Viejo, where he has overseen engineering support for multiple planning areas, roadway design for Los Patrones Parkway, and the development of Class 1 bike trails. His work also includes utility coordination, grading, drainage, and water quality planning for both public agencies and private developers.
Known for his clear communication and collaborative approach, Victor works closely with clients, consultants, and local agencies to guide projects to timely and coordinated completion. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, and is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in California.
