Wendy Amann, PE, is a Vice President and Quality Director for the firm.  She is the interim Managing Principal of Huitt-Zollars’ Denver office. With over 30 years of experience in structural engineering, Wendy has been instrumental in the analysis, design, and construction of various structures across multiple industries, including educational facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, maintenance and warehouse facilities, retail buildings, mixed-use facilities, and renovation projects. Wendy currently serves as a principal in charge, a project manager, and a quality control manager  for Huitt-Zollars, actively participating in various projects throughout the firm.  She manages full-service design teams and provides quality assurance services for various transportation projects.

Wendy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and has pursued graduate studies in Structures at the University of Colorado at Denver. She holds professional engineering licenses in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, Tennessee, and Arizona.

Wendy’s notable projects include the Louisville City Shops Facility and the Broomfield Maintenance Facility as well as various renovation projects firm-wide. Her expertise in structural engineering and project management has been pivotal in delivering successful outcomes for complex projects.
