Huitt-Zollars is pleased to announce that Carson Linstead, PE, MBA, has been named Director of the Project Management Office (PMO), a new leadership role created to support consistent, high-quality project delivery across the firm. Carson will facilitate continual improvement of HZ’s project management processes, tools, and best practices, partnering with the President, Chief Operating Officer, and project teams to manage risk and enhance financial and operational performance.
Carson currently serves as a Vice President, bringing more than 16 years of experience in electrical engineering, project management, and client leadership, including 11 years at Huitt-Zollars. Prior to his new designation as Director of PMO, Carson held the Managing Principal leadership role for the Fort Worth office. Carson has played a central role in new construction, renovation, and facility condition assessment projects nationwide, including the Western Currency Facility, the Red River Army Depot Maneuver Systems Sustainment Center, and numerous mission-critical projects for classified clients. His background includes deep experience in construction administration, contract negotiation, software implementation, and design collaboration, supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale projects.
Carson earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and a member of the 2023 Emerging Leaders of North Texas class. Additionally, Carson serves on the SMU Lyle School of Engineering Alumni Board and is Board President for Imagination Fort Worth, a nonprofit focused on advancing STEM education through creativity and art.
