Huitt-Zollars welcomes Brooksie Barton, PE, as a Vice President in our Seattle, Washington, office. Brooksie will play a key role in advancing our Transportation practice across the Pacific Northwest, leading strategic growth initiatives, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the delivery of innovative transportation solutions throughout the region.
Brooksie brings more than 25 years of experience in transportation engineering, project management, and infrastructure design. She specializes in transportation systems, roadway illumination, traffic signals, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and she has successfully delivered projects for state departments of transportation, transit agencies, municipalities, airports, and other public agencies throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Her experience includes leading multidisciplinary teams, managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering complex transportation infrastructure improvements.
Throughout her career, Brooksie has held leadership positions with Jacobs Engineering, Transportation Solutions, Transpo Group, AECOM, and Kimley-Horn. In addition to her technical expertise, she has been a champion for mentorship, staff development, and inclusion initiatives, serving in leadership roles with several employee networks and diversity councils. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
