Huitt-Zollars is pleased to announce that Lani Marshall, PE, LEED AP, has joined the firm’s Dallas office as Vice President and Managing Principal. In these roles, she will serve as Principal-In-Charge on TxDOT projects and partner with Transportation Principals to advance the firm’s transportation practice. She will also collaborate with Principals across the Dallas office to guide its strategic direction, support continued growth, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Lani brings 25 years of experience in transportation and civil engineering, with a strong background in large-scale, multidiscipline highway and transit projects. Her expertise includes advanced project development, schematic design, environmental documentation, public involvement, and professional engineering procurement. Prior to joining Huitt-Zollars, Lani held leadership and technical roles with the Texas Department of Transportation and several nationally recognized engineering firms. Throughout her career, Lani has led and managed teams of engineers, supported proposal and cost proposal development, and delivered complex roadway, interchange, and transit projects for public-sector clients.
Lani is deeply engaged in the profession, serving in leadership roles with organizations such as Women’s Transportation Seminar and the North Texas Chinese Engineers and Architects Association. She holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional.
