Huitt-Zollars is pleased to welcome Phillip Soule, III, AIA, ACHA, DBIA, as a Vice President within our Institutional practice. Based in our San Diego office, Phillip will serve as a Healthcare Lead with a primary focus on advancing growth and opportunities in the San Diego and Houston markets. He will also support healthcare initiatives across the company nationwide.
Phillip brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare architecture, construction, and business development. His expertise spans business development, design-build delivery, strategic growth, and client-focused solutions. He has led multi-office teams and delivered award-winning projects totaling over $1.3 billion, building strong partnerships and advancing healthcare environments.
Phillip is a Board Certified Healthcare Architect (ACHA), Registered Architect (AIA), and Design-Build Professional (DBIA). He is recognized for his thought leadership, having presented at national conferences such as the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo, the Healthcare Design Conference, and the Design-Build Institute of America Conference. His published work includes features in GlobeSt.com and Healthcare Design Magazine. Phillip has also taught healthcare design as an adjunct professor at NewSchool of Architecture and Design.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University, College of Engineering, School of Architecture.
