We are thrilled to announce that Wendy Amann, PE, F.SAME, our Quality Director and interim Denver office Managing Principal, has been honored with the Orley O. Phillips Award by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado (ACEC CO) during their 2025 Annual Meeting and Honor Awards Luncheon.
This distinguished award recognizes Wendy’s outstanding contributions to the engineering profession, ACEC Colorado, and its programs. With over 30 years of active involvement, Wendy has been a cornerstone of the organization, serving on multiple task forces, chairing key committees, and holding a director role on the ACEC Colorado Board of Directors.
Beyond her impactful work here at Huitt-Zollars, Wendy’s leadership extends into the wider engineering community, including her current role as regional vice president for the Society of American Military Engineers, her service on the Colorado Board of Licensure for Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors, and her ongoing commitment to the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Land Surveyors.
