The Hill AFB F-35 Composite Repair and Training Facility is the first U.S. facility dedicated to 24/7 technician training for fabrication and repair of F-35 composite components. As lead firm in a joint venture, our team prepared the full Design-Build RFP package for this new aircraft maintenance and training facility, part of a larger campus development program.
Scope included validation of prior planning documents, field investigations, and development of a 30% design package with phasing, scheduling, and milestone planning. Deliverables also included a Life Cycle Cost Analysis, USAF sustainability scorecard, DD1354, MII cost estimate, third-party sustainability verification, and support through solicitation and contract award. Our team performed approximately 80% of the technical work and led all major design disciplines.
