Huitt-Zollars served as the prime consultant to conduct planning, environmental clearance, and final design for improvements to the primary airport terminal access highway. The project was conducted to mitigate existing traffic congestion, accommodate the anticipated 45 million annual passengers, and incorporate the regional trail transit system within the freeway corridor. The project includes freeway widening, a new return loop ramp, interchange modernization, and the at-grade rail transit system.
