Huitt-Zollars was selected by the City of La Porte to provide programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documents for the City’s new Municipal Courts Building. Huitt-Zollars also provided bidding and construction phase services for this project. The scope of services included programming, architecture, and landscape architecture; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering; and surveying on this $3M facility. Since the building houses the City’s emergency response personnel, the building was designed to withstand 160-mph winds and was provided with an emergency generator.
